Softball begins

Mandy playing first base. Wanting her teammates to throw her the ball. First base is her second favorite position. She much rather be pitching. She also loves to catch but doesn't get to very often. We need someone to catch the ball at first base. She is having so much fun!

She can cheer loud just like her mom use to.

Mandy has really done well learning to pitch and we have so much fun together. Grandpa has been helping her also. It's very strange to watch her work with him because it brings back so many memories and it just doesn't seem like so long ago that I was practicing in the backyard wtih him. I am very proud of her and I am enjoying every minute of it. I wasn't sure coaching her team would work too well with all the boys teams but it's worked out great and we are all having fun. Soon I will be putting all of the boys pictures on the blog and you will all be tired of baseball. Opening day is next weekend for the boys, so get ready. Matt has already hit it over the fence in practice and he is a pitching machine. Caden is on Matt's team this year and is loving every minute, he just doesn't like to catch Matt. He has been playing mostly in the outfield and hitting very well. Will see what happens when the games start. Brandon is being coached by Jim and Bishop Blackham again and we are looking forward to his season. He is so much bigger and stronger this year it is amazing. He is a great second baseman and his hitting is very strong. Nate is on a whole new team this year and has moved up to triple A. He is very young, playing with some 10 and 11 year olds but he will be fine. He is a very fast pitcher just needs to work on his accuracy. He loves baseball and I love watching him play.

For a 7 year old little girl she has great form. I love to see her face and how much she concentrates. It's just awesome. Look at that focus.

Perfect pitch. Go Mandy!
