We were all happy that Jim had the day off so he could spend Halloween with us. As usually he makes a very fine "Billy Bob"
We were also very happy that Grandma and Grandpa made it back to Vegas in time for Trunk or Treat. It is always so fun for the kids.

Yea for Cris and Jen, they were able to come too. We had fun!

Brandon is looking pretty scary by Grandpa. Not a common site to see Brandon so crazy.

You can't see Nate's hair so well in the dark but he looked awesome in his big fro. He was an awesome hippie. Of course Mandy was Hanna Montana. But she is prettier then the real one.

Mandy is still smiling even though she is stuck between those two crazy boys.

We look like we need some real help here.

Grandpa and Grandma's truck always wins the prize for the best decorations. We had many comments. You can't see it in the pictures but the pumpkins on the side of Mandy were even glowing. Grandpa cut the bottoms out of them and we used candles to light them up, it was awesome. Everyone loved it.

Caden did a great job playing the role of a nerd.

We Love you Grandma!

It wont hurt you to smile Matthew.

Halloween in Vegas

Pumpkin carving is always fun!

Nathan carved his pumpkin all by himself this year and he did a fantastic job. Cris and Jen came over and shared in our carving festivities. We had great fun. Of course we did not grow our pumpkins, we had to buy them. The pumpkins we tried to grow shriveled on the vine in our 110 degree summer heat.

The kids did their own carving this year. I just had to help gut the pumpkins, I always get the yucky part.

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

Officer Sink receiving the Meritorious Service Award

Office Jim Sink receiving his Meritorious Service Award. My camera was not working well so I was unable to get a good shot but we are very proud of him. The police dept had a photographer at the ceremony so we should be getting some good pictures later and I will update then.
Award in hand he awaits for his family to take pictures for the department.

Jim has worked so hard and loves his job. I am so proud of what he has accomplished. Below I have taken a snapshot of his certificate. It states " On July 7, 2008, Office Sink arrived on a call of a suspect dragging a female victim in the parking lot of Macy's Dept. Store. Office Sink initiated the "Bull's-Eye", technique, and picked out one of the three vehicles that matched the description of the suspects vehicle involved in the string of purse snach robberies .............. I will not bore you with all of the details. The last paragraph states. "Due to the efforts of Officer Sink, an experienced serial robber was taken off the street and is no longer a threat to our city. Therefore, Officer Sink is hereby presented the Unit Meritorious Award."

WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR DADDY! HE IS AWESOME!
