Brandon's season is just about to come to an end. They lost the first game in the tournament which puts them into the losers bracket. They will play on Wednesday to see if they can stay in. He has had a great season, pitching and playing second base. The team seems to be getting tired. Pitcher's arms are sore, especially B.J's. He has been hitting real well this season and of course running the bases like a pro. Last game he almost hit it over. I don't think I have ever seen him hit it so far. It barely missed and bounced over. This is possibly B.J.'s last season d/t swimming in high school, the two sports are in the same season. We will miss watching him play ball, it has gone way too fast. He turned into a very wonderful young man. Hopefully they can pull out a win on Wednesday and will get to see him play a few games longer. If not, it has been nothing but fun!

Matthew and his beautiful smile. I wish he would always wear it. He has had a great season but I think the highlight of it all was his Grand Slam home-run against the Orioles. He has done very well pitching this year and his batting has really been top notch.

Matt and Caden's team have currently played there way into the Championship game this Monday at 6:00 p.m. They are very excited, I think they want that big trophy again. If they lose on Monday they still get another chance on Tuesday to win because they are they only team in the tournament without a loss. Matt will not be pitching because he pitched the last game, but he and Caden will come with there bat's ready. Last game he struck 8 of the nine first batters out and then his last inning pitched he struck out one. I think they got 2 hits off of him. He did real well, very focused and his head was reallly in the game. His teammate came in and closed the game pitching the last 2 innings very strong.

This pitch looks so painful. I don't know how there arms can take that. Which is why they give these kids such a sticked pitch count. When we played you could pitch a whole game, not for these boys. They only make it about 4 innings in a game and then they have to be pulled. If they go over 60 pitches they can't pitch the next game which is usually the case. It's smart, saftey first.

Nathan is a real power house for his team. We are very proud of him and hope to see many more good years of him pitching.

Nate hitting an in the park home-run! Go Nate!

This particular game Nathan struck out the first 9 batters. They weren't anywhere near hitting this kid. Then he let one kid ground out and he finished the next 2 batters off with a big K(strike out for those that don't know baseball lingo) He was dominant.

Nathan has his last game of the season this Monday. Then they start the season end tournament. As much as I would love to see them do well, if they do he will not be able to go to Rachel's wedding because the championship game is on the same day. So, will see what happens. His team has struggled this year from time to time, especially if Nate is not pitching, or pitching well should I say.
