We were all happy that Jim had the day off so he could spend Halloween with us. As usually he makes a very fine "Billy Bob"
We were also very happy that Grandma and Grandpa made it back to Vegas in time for Trunk or Treat. It is always so fun for the kids.

Yea for Cris and Jen, they were able to come too. We had fun!

Brandon is looking pretty scary by Grandpa. Not a common site to see Brandon so crazy.

You can't see Nate's hair so well in the dark but he looked awesome in his big fro. He was an awesome hippie. Of course Mandy was Hanna Montana. But she is prettier then the real one.

Mandy is still smiling even though she is stuck between those two crazy boys.

We look like we need some real help here.

Grandpa and Grandma's truck always wins the prize for the best decorations. We had many comments. You can't see it in the pictures but the pumpkins on the side of Mandy were even glowing. Grandpa cut the bottoms out of them and we used candles to light them up, it was awesome. Everyone loved it.

Caden did a great job playing the role of a nerd.

We Love you Grandma!

It wont hurt you to smile Matthew.

Halloween in Vegas

Pumpkin carving is always fun!

Nathan carved his pumpkin all by himself this year and he did a fantastic job. Cris and Jen came over and shared in our carving festivities. We had great fun. Of course we did not grow our pumpkins, we had to buy them. The pumpkins we tried to grow shriveled on the vine in our 110 degree summer heat.

The kids did their own carving this year. I just had to help gut the pumpkins, I always get the yucky part.

Hope you all had a wonderful Halloween!

Officer Sink receiving the Meritorious Service Award

Office Jim Sink receiving his Meritorious Service Award. My camera was not working well so I was unable to get a good shot but we are very proud of him. The police dept had a photographer at the ceremony so we should be getting some good pictures later and I will update then.
Award in hand he awaits for his family to take pictures for the department.

Jim has worked so hard and loves his job. I am so proud of what he has accomplished. Below I have taken a snapshot of his certificate. It states " On July 7, 2008, Office Sink arrived on a call of a suspect dragging a female victim in the parking lot of Macy's Dept. Store. Office Sink initiated the "Bull's-Eye", technique, and picked out one of the three vehicles that matched the description of the suspects vehicle involved in the string of purse snach robberies .............. I will not bore you with all of the details. The last paragraph states. "Due to the efforts of Officer Sink, an experienced serial robber was taken off the street and is no longer a threat to our city. Therefore, Officer Sink is hereby presented the Unit Meritorious Award."

WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR DADDY! HE IS AWESOME!

Summer 2008 - Fun with the Glassfords

Rich gives up on playing football and has much more fun being Grandpa.
It is so fun watching my brother be Grandpa. Something to look forward to, in the way future.
Rich you are one proud Grandpa.
Grandpa taken down by the youngsters. Future football stars.

A little friendly football game at David's house. Of course every year there is a little agression shown between Rich and Jim. I don't know what's up with that. Last year it was a game of basketball in Grandma Sinks pool and this year, it's football. I can't wait until next year. These old men might really hurt each other one of these summers. (ha,ha)
Dan may be younger but Jim can still keep up with the best of them. Then of course, you might want to watch out because he might not be able to stop.Face plant. That does not look comfortable. I can't tell if it is Tyler or Richard but I am wondering if we should stay away from sporting events.
Dan the man working on a strategy to beat Jim but I am not sure it ever worked. We had a lot of fun that day and are so glad to have spent time with everyone. Dave your house is awesome and we can't wait for next year. I hope all is going well for you and the family. You are in our prayers every day.

Summer would not be the same without a fishing trip with Grandpa. Thanks for taking us Grandpa. You were very tired that day but you took us anyways and we had lots of fun. Your the best, we love you!
We caught a ton of fish, it was so fun!
Look at my awesome fishy! Isn't it cool.
We are awesome fisherman. Of course, Matthew let Brandon do all the hook work because he did not want to go to the hospital again.

I wish I had more pictures to share of our wonderful trip to Utah but things always get so crazy. We had a wonderful time and made many more memories. We look forward to next year and we love you all.

Summer 2008, Fun with the Sinks

We love coming to visit, we always have a great time! Thanks for all you do and the fun we are able to have with the family. I know the pictures weren't all great but we haven't had a recent picture of you both for a long time so now we finally have one for our home.

Little Bridger had no fear, he was going to keep up with the big boys.
All the boys try very hard to beat Daddy and his big splashing but it's going to be a few more years before that's going to happen.

Jim is probably not going to be very happy about this picture but I'm just showing his superb splashing techniques.

Tanner and Jayce were so much fun to have around at the race track! My boys think they are the coolest of kids.

We had so much fun going to the Race track with Aunt Christine, the boys could not stop talking about how awesome it was.
Uncle Jeremy is looking to see what happened to Jim. Jeremy's ability to maintain air is a little bit better than his big bro Jim. The kids all enjoyed the man made waves. We spents many, many hours in the Sink pool. Many fun memories, Thank you!

Oh no, this one might send us clear out of the pool!

Brandon is trying really hard to cheer up Jayce but I guess all he needed was his Dad.
I love this pictures of Father and Son.
At least we were able to take some good pictures of the ones we love at the sitting.
Grandma being surrounded with Love. She lets us do all kinds of fun things that our mom's never let us do.
We Love you Aunt Christine! You are the greatest. We always have fun when your around.
